Golden Heart Ranch
Boots & BBQ Bash
Saturday, May 19th
We're kickin' off something new this year we know you're really going to love!
A Boots & BBQ Bash, our annual fundraiser, at Golden Heart Ranch! Dance the night away to boot stompin' live music and dive into some mouth-watering ranch-style barbeque paired with delicious local wines, artisan/craft beers and specilaty tequilas. And if that wasn't enough, treat your palette to a few sumptuous desserts from the finest local bakeries. Play a few hands at our casino tables or ride our mechanical bull... yes, you heard right! We have so much fun in store, we can't wait to share it with you!
Your ticket to the Bash will raise funds that support and grow our quality programs for our teens and young adults with special needs. With your help, we can expand our Agoura Hills and South Bay Camps, Social Skills, Life Skills and Vocational training programs as well as grow our new sleep away camp... Camp Coyote Ridge and other great programs we have in the works.

Here is what one family has to say about GHR..
From Michael's Dad:
Golden Heart Ranch provides programs that help my son Michael, who is diagnosed with autism and epilepsy, learn, grow and enjoy life: Yoga, hiking, arts & crafts, cooking, sports, singing, dancing, movies, dinner out with friends and more. (Even at school, Michael hasn’t really made friends. He has at Golden Heart Ranch!) He’s learning to better care for himself and others. And looking forward, Golden Heart Ranch is working to become a lifelong residence for many, with the necessary medical, educational, and emotional supports that only a “community” like this could provide.
Golden Heart Ranch is not an outpost for the disabled however. Rather, it is a vital and integral part of the community that enriches the lives of its neighbors, local businesses and patrons. Our “kids” are being given an opportunity to participate and contribute to society, not be a burden on its resources. GHR is driven by the vision of our special needs families. Soon, our kids will prosper by their own initiative. And isn’t that the dream of every parent? It’s certainly mine. Robert C.
This is one of many, many stories of how the ranch is impacting the lives of so many in our special needs community.
